On the occasion of the
International Women's Day-
8 the March 2007 was realized meeting on the theme: “Equality of the
women- contemporary challenges “. In the meeting with active
discussion took part students- volunteers, who work on representation
and protection of the breastfeeding in Bulgaria. The participants were
introduced with distributed by World Alliance on
Breastfeeding
action announcement for protection of breastfeeding as the basic right
of the women IN THE CONTEXT OF
`ENDING IMPUNITY FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS'.Under the leading of Katja Terzieva- Sofronieva /coordinator of the Bulgarian group of Global Alliance for work with the students in Bulgaria/, was followed the Bulgarian tradition for celebration of the Day and participation of the young people. Guest of the event was Diljana Stoyanova coordinator of the Yambol region.
